Puretest cell culture dishes provide a clear polystyrene (PS) culture vessel with a flat, tissue-culture-treated growth surface and a matching lid. The series covers four nominal sizes: 35 mm, 60 mm, 100 mm and 150 mm. Choose by culture area, medium requirement and handling preference rather than diameter alone.

Standard and gripping-ring configurations are listed separately below. The gripping ring helps with gloved handling and dish separation; it is a model-specific feature, not a feature assumed for every size. Size and Configuration Reference

The following reference configurations support specification matching. Nominal diameter is the format designation, not a measured inner diameter. Growth area is the usable culture surface; recommended medium volume is a working range, not the maximum vessel capacity.

No 150 mm gripping-ring configuration is specified here.

Choosing a Format

• 35 mm: A compact format for small-scale culture and observation where conserving medium is important.
• 60 mm: A practical intermediate format for routine culture and colony work. The gripping-ring reference is 60 × 15 mm, 22.9 cm², 4.2–6.3 mL, 20 pieces/pack and 500 pieces/case.
• 100 mm: Useful for routine expansion and harvesting. Standard and gripping-ring versions have different reference growth areas, so they should not share an identical area specification.
• 150 mm: A larger culture surface for expansion workflows. Only the standard configuration is included in this guide.

Final medium volume, seeding density and incubation conditions must follow the cell line and validated laboratory protocol. Nominal size alone does not establish equipment compatibility; request the drawing if holder fit or optical clearance is critical.

Applications and Handling

Suitable selection areas include adherent-cell maintenance, expansion, colony assays and preparation for downstream harvesting. Evaluate the selected dish with your cell type and imaging setup before routine use. These PS dishes are not glass-bottom dishes or untreated microbiological Petri dishes.

Open the sterile pack in an appropriate clean working environment, avoid touching the culture surface and use aseptic technique. Store unopened packs according to the product label and use before the stated expiry date. Do not reuse or autoclave unless the supplied product instructions explicitly permit it.

Quality Documentation and Ordering

For a matched quotation, specify nominal size, standard or gripping-ring design, preferred pack quantity, total quantity and destination. Request the applicable material specification, sterilization method and batch documentation for the selected item. Sterility assurance levels, DNase/RNase status, pyrogen limits and certification claims must be supported by the supplied product documentation; they are not inferred from another manufacturer’s product listing.
