This policy explains how Hangzhou Puretest Biotech Co.,Ltd. (“Puretest”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through www.biopuretest.com and related business enquiries.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Hangzhou Puretest Biotech Co.,Ltd., based in Hangzhou, China, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact sales@biopuretest.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Enquiries and correspondence: the name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country or region, product requirements, quantities and other information you choose to provide through our forms, chat, email or direct communications. The fields marked as required on each form are needed to process that request; other fields are optional.
  • Business arrangements: if you proceed with samples, quotations, customisation or an order, additional contact, company, delivery, billing and transaction details needed for those arrangements.
  • Website and technical information: servers and website services may process your IP address, browser and device information, access times, page addresses and referral information for website operation, security and measurement.
  • Comments: where commenting is available, we collect the information entered in the comment form and technical information used to help detect spam. Approved comments and the chosen display name may be visible publicly; enquiry messages are not published as comments.

Please do not include patient information, medical records, payment-card details or other sensitive personal information in a general enquiry.

3. How we use your information

We use enquiry information to respond to questions, prepare quotations, discuss specifications and customisation, arrange samples or orders, and follow up on the relevant business request. We also use necessary records to operate and protect the website, manage business relationships, and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations.

We follow up on customer enquiries, but do not use enquiry details for bulk marketing messages. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, the basis for responding to an individual’s requested pre-contractual steps or fulfilling a contract may be contractual necessity. Handling enquiries from business contacts, maintaining business correspondence and protecting our website may rely on our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. Legal obligations may require certain records. Where consent is required for optional technologies, consent is a separate matter from sending an enquiry.

4. Service providers and other recipients

Enquiry records may be stored in our WordPress website’s submission records and delivered to our business email inbox. Website hosting, maintenance, email delivery and related service providers may process information needed to provide their services.

The site also uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for website measurement and tag management, Leadscloud for chat and related visitor tools, and Google Maps on the contact page. These services may receive device, network and usage information; messages entered into the chat are also handled through the chat service. See the cookies and third-party services section below.

Where necessary for a requested sample, customisation project or order, relevant information may be shared with production partners, delivery providers or other parties involved in fulfilling that request. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address a legal claim.

5. Cookies, local storage and third-party services

Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar technologies, including browser local storage and embedded scripts, can also remember settings or process information about a visit. The website uses a combination of website functions and third-party features:

  • Website functions: WordPress and related components may use storage for login sessions, security, preferences and any shopping-cart functions that you use. These purposes differ from optional visitor measurement.
  • Google Analytics and Tag Manager: these tools measure website use and manage measurement tags. Depending on the active configuration, they may use identifiers and cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. Tag Manager can load other tags; the applicable technologies depend on the tags configured in the container.
  • Leadscloud chat and visitor tools: the chat service can process the information you enter and technical or browsing information used by its visitor tools. A separate website enquiry form and our email address are available if you prefer to contact us directly.
  • Google Maps and external links: displaying the embedded map can send technical information to Google. Clicking a WhatsApp or another external link takes you to that provider, whose own privacy practices apply.

Third-party features may communicate with their providers when a page or feature loads. For Google’s practices, see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can use your browser settings to review, block or delete cookies and other site storage. Blocking storage may affect some features and does not necessarily prevent every third-party network request. Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on provides an additional browser-based option for supported Analytics collection. Merely visiting this policy or submitting an enquiry is not consent to optional tracking.

6. International processing

We operate in China, so information sent to us may be accessed and handled in China. Hosting, email and third-party service providers may also process information in other countries, which may have different data protection rules. Contact us if you need further information about the recipients or international processing relevant to your enquiry.

7. How long information is kept

Enquiry information is retained for handling and following up the request and maintaining necessary business records. The appropriate period depends on whether the enquiry remains active, whether it becomes a sample project or order, the business relationship, and any applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. A single automatic deletion deadline does not apply to every enquiry.

Records can exist in both the website’s submission system and business email correspondence; copies in routine backups may follow the backup cycle. Contact us to request deletion of information that is no longer needed. We may need to retain information required for an ongoing transaction, legal obligation or claim.

8. Your choices and rights

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate details, request deletion, or ask us to stop following up an enquiry. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict processing, object to processing, receive a portable copy of information, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. These rights may be subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

Send requests to sales@biopuretest.com, preferably from the email address used for the enquiry. We may ask for proportionate information to verify the request. If EU or UK data protection law applies to you, you may also raise a concern with the relevant supervisory authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website tools or information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
