An intermediate format for routine culture work. The 60 mm standard dish offers a 22.9 cm² reference growth area and a recommended reference medium range of 4.2–6.3 mL. It provides an intermediate option between the 35 mm and 100 mm formats for routine adherent-cell culture, observation and cell harvesting. This model is supplied without an external gripping ring.
The flat culture base gives access for medium exchange and cell harvesting. Transparent PS allows routine inspection; for demanding microscopy, specify the required optical surface rather than assuming a standard PS dish is equivalent to glass-bottom ware.
The standard rim provides a simple dish-and-lid configuration without an external gripping ring. If a gripping ring is specified in your protocol or purchasing description, use the separate ring-version listing. The lift-off lid allows access across the dish. Keep the vessel upright; it is not a sealed specimen-transport container.
Cell attachment and growth remain cell-line and protocol dependent. Where a specialist coating is required, follow the cell supplier’s instructions and qualify the selected surface.
