A larger culture area with a choice of pack sizes. The 100 mm standard dish provides a 57.6 cm² reference growth area for larger individual adherent-cell cultures. Reference packing includes 5, 10 or 20 dishes per pack, allowing buyers to specify the pack format that fits laboratory consumption. Do not substitute the 59.3 cm² value listed for the 100 mm gripping-ring version.
The flat culture base gives access for medium exchange and cell harvesting. Transparent PS allows routine inspection; for demanding microscopy, specify the required optical surface rather than assuming a standard PS dish is equivalent to glass-bottom ware.
The standard rim provides a simple dish-and-lid configuration without an external gripping ring. If a gripping ring is specified in your protocol or purchasing description, use the separate ring-version listing. The lift-off lid allows access across the dish. Keep the vessel upright; it is not a sealed specimen-transport container.
Cell attachment and growth remain cell-line and protocol dependent. Where a specialist coating is required, follow the cell supplier’s instructions and qualify the selected surface.
