Low-tack sealing film is a practical choice for covering microplates during ELISA incubation and other short-duration assay steps. This family focuses on convenient placement and controlled removal, particularly where a removable-strip plate must remain seated in its frame.

| Component | Function |
|---|---|
| Clear polyolefin membrane | Provides a continuous cover rather than an intentionally breathable membrane. |
| Low-tack adhesive | Designed around placement and removal; qualify the seal on the selected plate surface. |
| Rounded handling tabs | Provide an area to grip without touching the covered well array. |
Use the configurations below to specify your inquiry. Dimensions and thicknesses are reference configurations, not a guarantee of stock or universal compatibility. The selected grade, usable sealing area, packaging and operating limits will be confirmed in the quotation and product specification.
| Configuration | Nominal thickness | Sheet size (mm) | Reference packaging |
|---|---|---|---|
| Low-tack incubation film | 75 ± 10 µm | 142 × 80 | 100 sheets/box |
| Item | Selection information |
|---|---|
| Primary selection use | ELISA incubation and temporary assay plate coverage |
| Application | Manual adhesive sealing |
| Plate selection | Fixed-well or removable-strip microplates after fit checks |
| Required qualification | Incubation time/temperature, shaking and removal behavior |
Use as a covering option during plate-based immunoassay incubation, reagent holds and other validated temporary assay steps. For removable strips, evaluate whether peeling disturbs the strips or the frame before routine use.

For a useful quotation, send your plate model or drawing, preferred film construction, sheet size or roll-feed requirements, application conditions, quantity and destination country. For heat-seal products, include the sealer model. If lot-specific quality documents or special packaging are required, list them in the inquiry so they can be checked for the selected grade.
Evaluate a representative sample under your actual workflow before changing a qualified laboratory consumable. A general family description does not replace grade-specific test data.
Check the frame dimensions and strip-rim heights. The low-tack approach may suit controlled removal, but the plate must be supported and the combination evaluated.
The film supplier illustrates the film on a deep-well demonstration plate. The image shows the membrane and tabs, not an ELISA plate included with the film.
Follow the assay and plate-reader instructions. Reading through a cover requires optical and condensation assessment; do not assume compatibility.
Send your plate and application details to Puretest for configuration review, sample availability and a quotation.
